Another New Diary Date:

Martlesham Heath Aviation Society Open Day, Sunday September 13th 2009

We’ll be playing in two sessions during the day – 1.00pm to 1.30 and then again 3.00pm to 3.30.  Come along and hear us play, it’s a great (free) event for all the family….

New Diary Dates!

Very pleased to say we’ve been asked back to two venues we’ve played at recently – the Lodge Care Home in Copdock, where we’re performing for the residents this week, and next year’s Yarmouth Band Factor (renamed as Up Front), where we’ll be playing on Saturday June 12th, 2010.  It’s a real pleasure to be asked back, many thanks to both hosts.

Red Nose Day

Come and see us and hear us play on Friday March 13th in Woodbridge, Suffolk and donate to a really good cause – Comic Relief.  We can’t promise to be wearing Red Noses (might hamper our blowing power) but we’ll have a good time and hope to raise loads of cash.  We’ll be there around lunchtime, from about 12.00pm, outside what used to be Woolworths (!) on the Thoroughfare…. Join us if you can!!

Stop Press

Our playing date at the Great Yarmouth Band Festival will now be Saturday June 13th between about 12.00 and 2.30pm, not on the Sunday – when like many other pipers we’ll be off to Colchester for the annual piping competition (go to the RSPBA website for details – http://www.rspba.org/).
